Participants pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay at checkout. The money goes directly into your Stripe Connect account, on Stripe’s own payout schedule — Wayfield never holds your funds and never touches a card number.
There’s no reconciliation step because there’s nothing to reconcile. Payouts appear in Stripe the way any Stripe payout does; you’re not cross-referencing a spreadsheet against a bank statement at the end of the month.
The platform’s percentage is taken from your side of the transaction. The price shown on your workshop page is the price a participant pays at checkout — nothing gets added on top of what you set.
This is the plainest feature on this list, and also the most consistently requested one across every workshop-software review: organizers want to know that the number they were quoted is the number that actually lands in their account. This is how that works here.
