Questions

The price I get quoted is never what I actually pay. What’s the catch here?

There isn’t one, and we know that’s what everyone says. Wayfield charges a subscription and a percentage of registrations. That’s it. No per-participant fee, no per-organizer fee, no module you have to add later to get a feature you assumed was included. Stripe charges their own processing rate and we don’t mark it up.

Who pays the fee — me or my participant?

You do. The price on your workshop page is the price in the cart. We don’t add a service fee on top of what your participant expected to pay. Our fee comes out of your payout.

What if I only run one or two workshops at a time?

Foundation includes up to 2 workshops. If you need more, Creator gives you 10. If you never upgrade, that’s a completely fine outcome — Foundation is free permanently.

I’ve been burned by software that got discontinued. What happens to my data?

Your participant list is yours. Full report exports (attendance, participants, revenue) are available on Creator and above; if you’re on Foundation and need your data out, email us and we’ll get it to you directly.

What happens if I go over my limits?

You can’t create something new past your plan’s limit — you’ll see exactly what to upgrade to when that happens. Upgrade takes effect immediately. Nothing about a workshop you’re already running gets deleted or locked mid-workshop.

What happens if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Your new plan’s limits apply going forward — if you’re already over them, you won’t be able to publish a new workshop until you’re back under the limit, but nothing already published gets touched.

Can more than one person manage the account?

Foundation: one. Creator: five. Studio: unlimited.

Is this only for photography?

No. It’s built for workshops with real sessions — ceramics courses, cooking classes, yoga retreats, guided outdoor trips, writing intensives, dance intensives, group coaching cohorts. It isn’t built for recurring memberships.

How does annual billing work?

Two months free. Creator is $490 a year, Studio is $1,490. Cancel before renewal.

What does Enterprise add?

A negotiated platform fee, an SLA, dedicated onboarding, and governance controls for multi-team deployments. Talk to us if your organization has a specific authentication requirement.
