Add-On Sessions

Not every part of a workshop belongs in the base registration. A one-on-one portfolio review after a photography workshop, a materials kit for a ceramics class, a wine pairing add-on for a culinary event — these can be set up as separately purchasable sessions with their own price, shown at checkout alongside the main registration.

Add-ons can carry their own refund rule, independent of the workshop’s general policy — useful when the add-on has a hard cost (materials that get ordered, a spot with a specialist that’s already booked) that a standard refund window doesn’t fit.

Participants see add-ons as part of the normal enrollment flow, not as a separate purchase they have to seek out afterward, which means the upsell happens in the moment someone’s already decided to register — not in a follow-up email they may or may not open.

For workshops that have a genuine upgrade to offer, this turns it into a checkout-time decision instead of an afterthought.
