Session Setup — Tracks, Types, and Enrollment Options

Sessions aren’t a flat list you check boxes on. Every session has a type — Standard (open enrollment), Add-On (its own price, purchased separately), or Hidden (invisible until you assign someone to it) — and an enrollment mode, either self-select or organizer-assigned only.

Named tracks group related sessions together with their own navigation — Landscape, Portrait, and Studio at a photography weekend, or Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced at a series. Each session can have its own location and delivery type, and virtual sessions keep their meeting details private until someone’s actually registered.

If a setup would create a conflict — a visible add-on session set to self-select when it should require organizer assignment, for instance — the platform flags it before you publish, not after a participant hits a wall.

This is the piece that lets a single pottery class and a four-day, multi-track photography expedition run on the same system, without either one feeling forced into the other’s shape.
