A playbook is the full sequence of messages a workshop needs, already built. The moment you publish, Wayfield checks your workshop’s category and assigns the playbook that matches — photography, ceramics, culinary, wellness, and 30+ others each have their own version.
From there, the sequence runs on its own: a confirmation the moment someone registers, a two-week-out preparation email, a three-day reminder with final logistics, a day-of message if the workshop needs one, and a post-workshop follow-up asking for a review. Multi-session workshops get a message before each session, not just the first one.
Every message can be edited. Change a subject line or rewrite the body for one workshop without touching the platform default or any other workshop you run. A “Customized” badge marks what you’ve changed, and reverting to the original text is one click.
If a message is missing information it needs — no hotel address, no meetup instructions — a warning shows up right on that message’s card while you’re editing it, with a direct link to the section where it needs to be filled in.
The result: participants get a relevant, well-timed message at every stage of the relationship, and you never write one from scratch.
